Former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute sends her congratulations and praise to Stassi Schroeder on her second wedding ceremony in Italy.
Former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute sent her congratulations to her friend Stassi Schroeder as she marries her husband, Beau Clark, in a second wedding ceremony in Italy. Stassi, her husband Beau and their daughter Hartford arrived in Rome earlier this week to celebrate their nuptials in lavish style after their first ceremony was restricted due to COVID-19. The couple originally married in a small outdoor ceremony and made plans to celebrate with more friends and family when travel restrictions were lifted. In the days leading up to the wedding, more of the original Vanderpump Rules cast were spotted in Italy, presumably for the Bravolebrity wedding. The reality star earned a reputation on the show for being over the top on her birthday, so it's no surprise that Stassi's wedding will be big and stylish.
Although Stassi quickly became a fan-favorite for her diva antics and ability to hilariously verbally put down the guys she dated, notably Jax Taylor, she was axed from the show in June 2020 due to accusations of racism. Both she and on-and-off friend Kristen Doute were fired and faced career dives in the aftermath. In a resurfaced podcast clip, Stassi admitted that she and Kristen called the police on their Black castmate, Faith Stowers, providing a tip that she may be the woman accused of robbery the police were looking for. Stassi went on to write a public apology and recently published her new book, Off With My Head: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook To Surviving Rock Bottom. Fans were quick to criticize the book and Stassi for profiting off her past bullying.

In the book, Stassi explained that even though she and Kristen's friendship suffered, their shared firing led them to grow close again. Kristen was not in attendance for the Italian wedding, as she was on her own vacation with her boyfriend, Alex Menache, but she was sure to send her congratulations and love to the bride. Kristen wrote in an Instagram Story, “Look at this ethereal beauty!” alongside a picture of Stassi, and, “Love you @stassischroeder.” The bride did indeed look beautiful, as she opted for an off-the-shoulder gown with lots of tulle and a long veil.
While Kristen did not attend, other members of the original Vanderpump Rules cast were there to support the couple. Tom Schwartz, who recently separated from his wife, Katie Maloney, arrived just in time for the big event. Katie was also spotted in the eternal city, so a reunion of the two exes seemed likely. When the couple decided to go their separate ways, they encouraged friends and fans not to take sides in the breakup and expressed mutual support and love for one another, so they appear to be on good terms. Stassi's good friend Brittany Cartwright and her husband, Jax Taylor, were likewise notably absent, though she also sent her support and best wishes to the couple on social media.
Stassi and Beau first began dating in 2018, and from the moment he was introduced to her friends, Beau was instantly accepted and loved. Lisa Vanderpump herself expressed support for Beau and Stassi together, and it wasn't long before he proposed. Now the Vanderpump Rules couple is not only officially married but officially celebrated--and in a beautiful, romantic setting. While not all of their friends were there in person, they were certainly there in spirit.
