The Puerto Venecia shopping center is immersed in a process of remodeling its outdoor areas. The first phase of the project has affected the terrace area and is completed with the exterior digital façade. The objective of this renovation was to transform the outdoor spaces of this center of more than 32,000 square meters located in Zaragoza, and turn them into greener and more sustainable areas. This included new digital supports that promote new experiences to share and enjoy with family and friends. These are concepts that represent the identity of the brand and reinforce its position as one of the reference centers for leisure and family destinations in the area. The project and construction management have been the responsibility of Idom engineering.Within this reform, after the renovation phase of the terraces, a new concept of dynamic digital facade has been created that links the Boulevard area with the Gallery and Leisure shopping area.To carry out the transformation of the digital facade of the shopping resort, the technology of Led Dream and its integrating partner HubTech have been used. The egarense group has been in charge of the conceptualization, design, development, and execution of the new digital facade of more than 140 square meters of total surface. The objective was to show the fusion of technology and architecture, incorporating a wide range of video solutions together with dynamic digital lighting, as well as synchronized content managers, with ad hoc visual content (dynamic templates for the reproduction of content in real time and 2D and 3D content creation).Everything to create an immersive experience in one of the main entrances of the shopping center. The element has been divided into 3 different areas that, through integration, programming and content work together. The first is a Led screen that becomes a digital and artistic canvas of 32 square meters of surface, which is displayed as an information and entertainment support. It has a pixel pitch of 4.8 mm and a brightness that allows perfect visibility, both day and night. Its uniqueness lies in its angular format, where its corner where the two sides of the screen meet is rounded, and not finished in a 90-degree cut as usual, smoothing the transition and union between both sides. This digital screen design is specially manufactured and customized for the Puerto Venecia project.A second space is the dynamic digital façade made of die-cut panels.Designed by Lumalia Studio, a Led Dream group company, the façade extends the Led screen in a game of synchrony and contrast, expanding the video content on occasions, and contrasting with color ranges and lighting on others. In the architectural sense, it integrates the space in conjunction with the stands, thanks to the plant-inspired organic stamping that serves as a reflection of the vertical garden of the facing façade. The third element that completes and integrates the space is the extension of dynamic lighting along the stands. The content and video effects of the digital facade are expanded in an enveloping way following the movements and color ranges reproduced in a natural way.The indirect lighting bath on the stone emphasizes its texture, filling the space with light and color, especially when daylight falls, complementing the visual spectacularity of the façade with an atmosphere of warmth. At night, the lighting is hidden in the stands showing a night cityscape with a sense of futurism. The objective of this project has been to provide a new face to this area of stands, which is the most visible part for those who arrive at the shopping center. With regard to content, its development has been the responsibility of another of the Led Dream companies, Channel4You, which has created different visual pieces: landscapes, nature, lifestyle, fluids and shapes, bumpers, commercials and corporate events, etc.Particle content with perspectives and 3D depth combined in the part of Led screens and digital lighting has also been designed. All these contents are synchronized with the backgrounds and color ranges of the digital lighting of the façade and the stands;and at the same time they have the flexibility to work independently for more specific applications.Subscribe to our RSS feed and you won't miss a thing.© 2019 Digital AV Magazine - Underwood Communication SL
