SNA Displays, which supplies LED video walls and more than 200 digital signage kiosks to the American Dream mall and entertainment center in New Jersey, chose the Netgear M4500 Series of AV-over-IP switches to power the digital signage, according to a company press release.

The original plan was to move from the legacy switches to the new ones overnight to minimize visitor disruption. However, the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily closed American Dream and installation was completed without on-site support from Netgear.

The finished installation included 16 M4500-48XF8C edge switches and four M4500-32C core switches carrying AV traffic. As of fall 2020, the total number of kiosks stood at 220, with approximately 140 other outputs going to LED screens and video walls.
