Sydney Kings coach Chase Buford caused damage when he lashed out violently in a temper tantrum during the NBL Grand Final series.
His team may have won Game Two of the NBL Grand Final series but Sydney Kings coach Chase Buford was fuming as he blew up in a violent outburst during through the clash with the Tasmania JackJumpers.
The temper tantrum came midway through the third quarter of the crucial game on Sunday when Sydney’s Ian Clark was penalised for taking more than the allowed eight seconds to dribble the ball over the halfway line.

Buford was incensed at the call and exploded, yelling ‘Holy...’, before physically lashing out and kicking the electronic advertising hoarding on the sideline.
His kick was so lethal it put a hole in the LED screen, which had to be repaired by an attendant.
The 33-year-old American was fuming and had to be restrained by Kings assistant coach Kevin Lisch.
Commentator Jack Heverin said on ESPN: “Chase Buford is headless!
“Might be an invoice heading Chase Buford’s way. You break it you own it.”
Corey ‘Homicide’ Williams said: “Coach Buford lost the plot.”
Peter Hooley added: “They must be steel caps. That’s less than ideal.”
Despite the error, the Kings showed their class in the absence of injured MVP Jaylen Adams to secure a hard-fought 90-86 win at Hobart’s MyState Bank Arena.

Dejan “DJ” Vasiljevic sealed the victory with a dagger of three-pointer with 10 seconds remaining.
Vasiljevic, Jarrell Martin and Xavier Cooks and Dejan Vasiljevic each had 20 points as the Kings took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five-game series.
The parochial Tasmanian crowd got stuck into Buford throughout the game and hurled all sorts of sledges at him.
“They were getting into Chase Buford,” Fox Sports reporter Drew Jones told ESPN’s The Jump.
“There were people near me standing up shouting, ‘Go back to Wall Street’ because he’s got the nice suit on and got the hair. ‘Go back to the FBI’.
“He was very serious today Chase and he kicked the LED light and at that stage he was already the villain and then it sort boiled over.
“I noticed a few times Kevin Lisch going up to him trying to calm him down. The atmosphere was quite incredible.”
Once he had settled down after the game, Buford didn’t miss the chance to take a subtle swipe at the Tasmanian fans.
“It was a hell of a game,” he said in his press conference.
“Honestly, I thought the atmosphere was more intense last round (against the Illawarra Hawks), maybe because it’s a rivalry or whatever.
“Sometimes they drown out the crowd here with the PA announcer and the music. But it was a good atmosphere and our guys relished it. It was a fun game to play in.”
Las month, Buford was fined $10,000 after he named-dropped the referee he hoped wouldn’t oversee the Kings playoff series against the Hawks.
He will also serve a one-game suspension next season as additional punishment.
The NBL Grand Final continues with Game Three on between the Kings and JackJumpers on Wednesday night in Sydney.
No team in NBL history has ever come back from a 0-2 deficit to win the Grand Final series.
