Optoma, a manufacturer of UHD touch panel displays, has launched its Creative Touch 5 Flat Panel Displays, according to a press release.

The fifth-generation IFPDs are primarily designed for distance learning but are also billed as general education and corporate collaboration tools. The system includes an onboard software suite, including Optoma Creative Board, an interactive whiteboard application, and the boards are compatible with webcams to support remote learning and interaction.

The system runs on Android, features internet connectivity and user customization of display elements and widgets, and is compatible with Chrome, PC and Mac. It supports SSO for Google Workspace and sharing to up to four remote devices. Optional cloud management is supported with Optoma Management Suite Cloud, a proprietary CMS solution.

"The new IFPDs were carefully designed based on customer feedback and the needs of the education and corporate markets, giving educators and business professionals even more customization options and innovative remote tools that foster collaborative classroom, hybrid learning and working environments where lessons and ideas can come to life," Gordon Healis, business manager of IFPD and LED at Optoma, said in the release.
