While all three Married At First Sight couples decided to stay married at the end of season 7, some fans are wondering who is still together?
Season 7 of Lifetime's hit reality dating show Married At First Sight aired in July 2018, giving three newlywed couples from Dallas a period of two months to decide if they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. While the reality show has become known for its low success rate for married couples remaining together on Decision Day, season 7 saw all three couples remain together during the final episode.
Of course, staying together for four years is much more challenging than doing so for two months. As such, fans have been curious as to which couples from Married At First Sight season 7 are still together in 2022 and who's gone their separate ways.
In the season 8 wedding day premiere of the hit reality dating show, things looked rosy for newlyweds Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson (two like-minded entrepreneurial types who shared the same age, devout faith, and instant mutual attraction to one another). However, after Mia got arrested right before their honeymoon, tensions increase between the two, with many believing the couple would split.
Yet in a shocking twist of fate, Tristan remained dedicated to Mia by saying "I Do" on Decision Day. The optimism was short-lived, however, as a massive fight broke out the day after the finale over potential infidelity that resulted in the two agreeing to get divorced.
Since her appearance on the show, Mia has dedicated her post-show time to address how manipulated she felt on the show by her ex-boyfriend Jared Evans, who she believed deliberately sabotaged her image by creating phony crimes that led to her arrest.
As of 2022, Mia has kept a low profile on social media so her current relationship status is unknown. As for Tristan, he eventually married a woman named Rachel White in 2020. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Phoenix. Six weeks ago, Tristan took to Instagram to celebrate his two-year wedding anniversary.
One of the best couples to emerge from MAFS includes construction manager Bobby Dodd and software salesperson Danielle Bergman. These were an instant fan-favorite couple right out of the gate. Sweet-natured, amiable, and rarely disagreeable, the couple never fought and was a true delight to watch their bond grow and strengthen over time.
As such, fans were pleased yet not shocked at all when the newlyweds agreed to stay together on Decision Day. Nor should they be surprised by the fact the two are still together in 2022 and have built a family together in Dallas.
According to People, Bobby and Danielle welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Olivia Nicole, in February 2019. In December 2020, they also welcomed a baby boy named Bobby IV (per E! Online).
Bobby and Danielle celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary on March 23, 2022, with Danielle taking to Instagram to beam about her hubby and the life they've built together, captioning the post by saying, "Hard to believe we just met here, and that 4 years have flown by, and now we feel like we've known each other forever! Happy anniversary my love." Whether enjoying Halloween pumpkin patches (via Bobby's Instagram) or enjoying recent summer family photos together, the Dodd family appears to be happy and healthy as can be in 2022.
At first blush, senior title analyst Amber Martorana and high yield bond trader Dave Flaherty seemed to have what it takes for long-term matrimonial bliss. The two shared a genuine attraction to one another and their personalities seemed to compliment each other nicely. However, when Amber began cold feet regarding her own insecurities crept up on the guilty-pleasure reality dating show, trouble in paradise began to bubble up.
Dave admitted that his celebrity crush was Candy star Jessica Biel, which made Amber feel bad as she looks nothing like the movie star. After constantly reassuring her, Dave became upset during their honeymoon when he learned Amber had dated one of his friends in the past. While the two stuck out and remain dedicated to each other on Decision Day, the deep-seated insecurities and their lack of communication eroded their marriage and the two decided to divorce in December 2018.
Amber confirmed the divorce in a since-deleted Instagram post (via E! Online), saying, "There have been some questions about the status of our marriage, so I wanted to confirm @daveflaherty80 and I have filed for divorce. We obviously had a lot of tough moments, but we shared a lot of laughs and fun times together, too. In the end, we just weren't a good match, but I learned a lot through the experience and can now say I'm thankful for it. I wish Dave well and I know he wishes the same for me in return"
As fans can see on her Instagram, the now-brunette Amber has moved on with a new beau in Florida. As for Dave, he's reportedly single in 2022 and spends much of his time with friends and family in Dallas. To keep tabs on his future romances, fans can follow Dave on Instagram if so inclined.
