Hikvision has partnered with Ghamdan Qatar to launch its commercial display solutions. Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Khalid al-Thani, chairman of Ghamdan, graced the launch event. Senior officials from Hikvision and Ghamdan were also present. Clients and system integrators in the country were invited to the event and they could experience a live demo of the latest display solutions available with Hikvision. "Considering the upcoming football season and the requirement of big commercial displays, Hikvision and Ghamdan has launched the most in-demand solutions. Hikvision offers the best products like LED for indoor and outdoor applications, LFD, smart learning solutions and controls. The local partner, Ghamdan, has a team of engineers and sales professionals who can offer the best and complete solutions to the Qatari clients," a press statement noted. Ghamdan and Hikvision will be investing considerably in the coming months to create an experience zone with complete live display of the full range of Hikvision products, which will help customers choose the right products for upcoming projects. Engineering support will be readily available to ensure that the products suit the project design. Dedicated sales teams will support the needs of the Qatari market, in the area of display solutions. Among the key features of Hikvision LED screens are seamless installation of video wall or advertising panel elements, ultra-thin screens, high colour performance to convey 'live' and realistic colours, support for additional functions to protect human eyes due to blue light filter, automatic image enhancement based on lighting conditions, broadcast in Ultra HD, automatic resolution and detail enhancement, and the intelligent LED drying function to ensure their performance for a long time and to protect against premature failure. The auto-dry function reduces the average LED wear time by 30%. LED models for building outdoor video screens are protected from external influences and have a waterproof design - each module is protected from moisture by a special rubber gasket, and the screen interfaces are behind a waterproof protective cover. All this allows people to use Hikvision LED panels in wet coastal areas, in regions with high levels of humidity, as well as during rains and other weather conditions. To deal with high temperatures in outdoor environments, several solutions are used: a die-cast aluminium case, a dual-fan design and an air intake. With their help, excess heat is dissipated, heat transfer is improved and additional cooling is provided. LED panels have a high-precision connection interface. Each module has an integrated power and signal interface - this not only improves the aesthetic appearance of the final design, but also avoids possible wiring hazards. Another important parameter is the ability to conveniently switch between signal sources. If earlier it was necessary to switch cables to display visual information on the screen, then Hikvision LED screens support the remote control function to switch from one device to another. The LED panel controller supports two-way backup signal: if one of the signals is turned off for some reason, the backup one will automatically start and the broadcast will continue. Today, Hikvision LED panels are widely used in exhibition centres, conference halls and event rooms, to provide visual and other useful information output in tourist centres, industrial enterprises, when organising sports and cultural and entertainment events, at schools and universities and at other facilities.
