WARE – The municipality was awarded a $30,000 state grant this week to procure an electronic sign outside of Town Hall that can be used to transmit information to the community.
The money, from the Massachusetts’ Rapid Recovery Grant Program, will allow for purchase of an LED-lit board for purpose of posting town announcements and events, according to state Rep. Todd Smola, R-Warren.
Ware Town Manager Stuart Beckley said the town “is very appreciative of the grant award. "
