Christie throws light on its Griffyn 4K50-RGB projector

As well as showcasing its new projector, Christie’s is using InfoComm 2022 to offer technology previews of MicroTiles LED, Pandoras Box Version 8.6, and more

The Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser 50,000 lumen projector will be launching at InfoComm, lighting up a 20-foot screen in vibrant colour. Stacked 25,000 lumen M 4K25 RGB pure laser projectors will also be projection mapping the Christie logo in conjunction with Pandoras Box Version 8.

Additionally, the Inspire Series DWU960-iS 1DLP projector will be making its InfoComm debut. The DWU960-iS will be shown in combination with Mystique Lite, which automatically blends up to three projectors.

LED on display includes a technology preview of Christie’s MicroTiles LED in 0.75mm and 1mm pixel pitches, as well as a large display of MicroTiles LED in 1.25mm in a unique “shattered” configuration. Core Series II LED video walls will be on show in a 1.2mm and the new 0.9mm pixel pitch.

Attendees can check out demonstrations of Terra, for feature-rich SDVoE systems; Spyder X80, a multi-windowing image processor able to manage up to 80 million pixels; and a tech preview of Pandoras Box 8.6 and Widget Designer, for content playback and show control, as they switch to manage and control content onto an Extreme Series LCD video wall.

Christie’s CounterAct commercial disinfection fixtures will be active on the booth and providing a layer of defence against pathogens, including Covid-19. CounterAct is the first UV disinfection technology developed for use around people and uses proprietary filtered far-UVC light to eliminate 99% of pathogens on surfaces in indoor spaces, including the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
